Games! Games! Games!
Ginger asks in WISH 69:
Recommend three non-RPG games for RPGers. Why do you recommend these three?
The first is easy, and I've mentioned it before: Settlers of Catan. We use it as our standby for those nights when the GM is missing and we still want a game of something. Its highly competitive and really good fun.
Ginger & Jeff trumped me on Munchkin and Cheapass Games, so I'll mention a specific game from the latter. Before I Kill You Mr. Bond seems to be out of print, so we'll have to engage in a Witch Trial, in which players can put women on trial for the most unlikely crimes (and some very probably ones while they are at it).
Finally, we come to Risk. No, I'm not going to explain it, everybody knows Risk. Why? You get to invade your friends countries, conquer the world, and gain unlimited rice pudding.
